The study is part of the focus area “People in the Context of HIV” at the Institute for Integration and Participation. This research is predominately geared towards studies that lay the foundations for the practice of HIV prevention and which promote the participation of people with HIV. For 20 years, the team has carried out qualitative and quantitative research projects on issues relating to HIV-related protection and risk behaviour as well as the challenges faced by people with HIV. One focus of prevention-oriented research relates to men who have sex with men.
